Cacharel is a male fragrance, the symbol of the 80s, mixing the nature and the adventures together. Presented in 1981 with its woody aromatic composition designed by Gerard Goupy, it creates unusual symbioses of nutmeg, ylang-ylang, carnation, lavender and lotus. The perfume is opened with notes of bergamot, sage, nutmeg and lavender, followed by the heart of ylang-ylang, lotus, geranium and carnation, and closed with the warm base of amber, cedar, vetiver and fir.

A smooth fragrance that takes you on different stages throughout the opening till dry down. The smell is alluring and satisfies the nostrils. Gourmand but still smells like a perfume.

I blind bought Lalique Encre Noire Sport and do not regret it one bit. This fragrance can be worn anywhere, anytime except for during winter where it won't last longer than a few hours in the cold. It is fresher and lighter than I had imagined but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. I am more interested in the EDT now which should be darker and more woody. Finally, the price was great. Real value for money.
