The warm dry down mixes sandal and patchouli leaves with a spicy touch of saffron. The perfume starts with a fresh note of rose, then patchouli gives its strength and warmth to the composition. The note of oud starts with herbaceous accords and then becomes darker and sharper, it blends perfect with rose in rich and powerful harmony. A smooth fragrance that takes you on different stages throughout the opening till dry down. The smell is alluring and satisfies the nostrils. Gourmand but still smells like a perfume.

I blind bought Lalique Encre Noire Sport and do not regret it one bit. This fragrance can be worn anywhere, anytime except for during winter where it won't last longer than a few hours in the cold. It is fresher and lighter than I had imagined but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. I am more interested in the EDT now which should be darker and more woody. Finally, the price was great. Real value for money.
