Lovestruck Floral Rush, the first flanker of the Lovestruck perfume by designer Vera Wang from 2011, launched in August 2012. The concept of the new version of the fragrance is going backwards – it is a prequel of the Lovestruck story abut modern day Romeo and Juliet, and it captures the excitement and adrenalin rush of love at first sight. The scent is a sparkling floral bouquet that attracts with its juicy notes. The accords include champagne, pink pepper and apricot blossom. Pink passion flower, marigold and white freesia are located in the heart, while the base notes include ambergris, musk and cashmere wood.

The initial spray to the dry down takes you on an unforgettable journey through a bakery shop filled with dough and cinnamon. A smooth fragrance that takes you on different stages throughout the opening till dry down. The smell is alluring and satisfies the nostrils. Gourmand but still smells like a perfume.

Pretty Bottle not so effective at all
I blind bought Lalique Encre Noire Sport and do not regret it one bit. This fragrance can be worn anywhere, anytime except for during winter where it won't last longer than a few hours in the cold. It is fresher and lighter than I had imagined but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. I am more interested in the EDT now which should be darker and more woody. Finally, the price was great. Real value for money.
